WEB TV:Athletics: Okagbare Qualifies For 100m Semis

Okagbare finished second, behind America’s Tori Bowie in a time of 11.22 seconds
Blessing Okagbare has qualified for the semifinals of the women’s 100m event at the World Athletics Championship in London.
Okagbare finished second, behind America’s Tori Bowie in a time of 11.22 seconds
In Heat 3, Bowie finished first in a time of 11.05 seconds, and is joined by Okagbare, Ivet Lalova-Collio of Bulgeria and Desiree Henry of Great Britain for Sunday’s semifinal.
In Heat 2, Jamaica's female sprint version of Usain Bolt Elaine Thompson danced through the rain to book her place in the 100 metres semi-finals at the world championships on Saturday.
The 25-year-old -- who won Olympic 100m and 200m gold last year -- made light of the conditions to win her heat whilst her bitter rival Dutch star Dafne Schippers eased through as well, finishing second in her heat.
Thompson looked serene even in the rain that poured down as they rose from their blocks, leading from the start and coasting over the line in 11.05 seconds.
