ADAMAWA: CHIEF OF STAFF TO GOV....BINDOW MUST BE CALLED TO ORDER FOR PEACE TO RAIN IN NUMAN LG BY TEAM ABDULAZIZ NYAKO
who lost their lives from bother the Fulani's and Bwatie's and those
injured, I wish them a very quick recovery as they continue to receive
medical treatments. Let me also condemn the Utterances of the Adamawa
State Chief of Staff and request the Security Agencies to call him to
order.
If we can recall few months back when the chief of staff visited Numan
local government for an official Flagg off of Some roads
rehabilitation project by the Adamawa State Government, in his speech
he then made mention that, this current Administration is for the
Kabilas's but not for fulani's because the Fulani man rules Adamawa
for good Eight years without doing justice for the bachama's, it was
so pathetic for the chief of staff to make such statements in public
even if he has a tribalism system of government or politics, I think
the best thing he could have done is to keep silent for the sake of
peace in our beloved state Adamawa.
I want to draw our attention back in 1999 when Boni Haruna was the
governor of Adamawa State, Mr. Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta was his chief
press secretary to the government of the state up to the end of that
Administration, in 2007 when Vice Admiral Murtala Nyako was elected as
governor, the same Abdulrahman Abba was appointed as Commissioner of
Information, after the first tenure where he got some political
clashes with most of the members of the house of Assembly, and
majority of the members were re-elected from their various
constituencies for a second term, Murtala Nyako's re-norminated the
man Abba Jimeta for his second term as Commissioner of information,
and majority of the members refuse to approve his name as nominee,
finally because of the love that Former Governor Nyako has for him and
for checks and balances withing the Ethnic Groups in the State, he
appointed him as chief of Staff to the state government, then his
Secretary to the State Government Mr. Kobis Arith Thinmu was LUNGUDA
by tribe and hails from Guyuk, Nyakos Deputy Governor Barr. Bala James
Ngillari was MARGHI by Tribe and hails from MADAGALI with all the
above mentioned we shouldn't forget that Nyako is a Fulani by Tribe
while Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta is Bwatie ,(Bachama) .
I think we should not be decieved by his unfurtunate statements
claiming that, the Fulani's Administration did nothing to the
Kabilas's is a lie and if it is true, then they should hold Abba
Jimeta Responsible for not bringing their own share as the Chief Press
Secretary during Boni Haruna, as one time a commissioner during Nyako
administration and one time chief of staff which is the most powerful
office during Murtala Nyako.
Numan was known as one of the most peaceful local government during
Nyako's Administration, but the chief of staff statement is trying to
distabilize the peace of Numan right from that day he makes that
utterance, the enemies of peace and progress stood on their feet to
see that they distabilize the peace and security of that Area because
they where brain washed by the so-called chief of staff that, this is
not a Fulani government.
Lastly, I want to use this medium to put more light to the good people
of Adamawa State that any elected government from any political party,
it became the government of the people by the people and for the
people it can't be government of that political party it belongs to
alone.
Finally, in 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which
was amended 2011, there is no single tribe or religion is allowed to
dominate any political party just as stated in SECTION 222 Sub Section
A, B, C, D, E and F.
I hope people will understand why the Adamawa Chief of staff is
engaged in a tribal system of politics and I hope our people cannot be
brain washed.
Finally, His Excellency, Governor Bindow Umaru Jibrilla of Adamawa
State must follow the good peace process that was natured to a success
level by Distinguish Senator Abdul'Aziz Murtala Nyako a Senator
Representing Adamawa Central few months back around Koh village and
it's environs in Girei local gov't of Adamawa State. It healed wounds
and averted reprisal attacks.
Also worthy of note was how the Governor of Nasarawa State His
Excellency, Mr Umar Tanko Almakura brought relative peace to the Eggon
axis. Peace is a direct result of good leadership and the other way
round.
If Bindow Jibirilla cannot swallow a humble pie to seek the assistance
of people with experience to save lives, he shouldn't mock the dead by
using their graves to play politics. It is not the way to go.
I urge on the people of Numan federation which comprises of Majority
Bwatiye and minority hausa/fulani to please give peace a chance as all
religion perches peace, They must also identify and warn the Judases
amongst them who chose politics over lives. The humanity that binds
them together should be above the pettish issues that divides them.
They should set up a joint committee for Peace and Reconciliation
based on mutual respect since the experience bankrupt government of
Bindow has failed them in all angles.
