Man beats wife to death in Bauchi

Police in Bauchi have arrested a 50 year old man identified as Alh Nuru isah for beating his second wife Wasila Abdullahi to death over dispute arising from Ramadan food in the Fadaman Mada area near Government Girls College Bauchi. The incident occurred on Saturday morning around 11:30 when Alh Nuru a business man in the Bauchi central market attacked Wasila his second wife after an argument over food ingredients meant for breaking the Ramadan fast. The altercation escalated and Isa brought out a cane hitting Wasila Abdullahi with it. She collapsed, lost consciousness and was rushed to the ATBU Teaching Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Alh Nuru isah was arrested and his cane recovered. May God help us all to overcome our anger.
